Schweinsteiger To PSG Matuidi To Manchester United
Not a swap-deal but a potential like for like replacement?
Paris Saint-Germain are being linked with a move for Manchester United's former Bayern Munich midfielder Bastian Schweinsteiger.
Blaise Matuidi is reportedly heading to Old Trafford himself?
Schweinsteiger struggled with form and fitness at Man United last season following his arrival from Bayern with it thought Jose Mourinho isn't looking to retain his services and that has seen Bild linking the German international with a switch to the Parc des Princes.
A player of proven experience and quality that could be a good fit for Les Parisiens couldn't he so many not a bad move, however it would be a blow to lose Matuidi. Then again Schweinsteiger would reportedly only arrive due to his exit.
Matuidi has been a key player for France at Euro 2016 (during this competition he's become the most capped French international in PSG's history) with it reported by Goal.com the 29-year-old was given permission to leave the Les Bleus camp so he could fly to England for talks with Mourinho's team.
He'll be back in place ahead of the semi-final with Germany on Thursday when he should come up against Schweinsteiger so we could get a glimpse of the Parc des Princes midfield past and present?
As it happens Matuidi's agent is Mino Raiola, the agent to Zlatan Ibrahimovic, with it thought this is a deal that will happen imminently.
