Vital View - Ligue 1, 7th-9th April 2017

The Ligue 1 season continued with the latest round of games played over the weekend.

Monaco's win had opened up a six point gap at the top on Saturday. However, Paris Saint Germain responded with a convincing win - Edinson Cavani's brace took him to 42 goals in 41 games - on Sunday. But goal difference is very much Monaco's friend.

Victory for Nice, prior to both of these games on Friday, means the three-horse race is on - they're four points off top spot.

Here's a round-up of the Ligue 1 action from the other games.
